Adult Basic Education, a tuition-free program, offers adults the opportunity to prepare for a high school equivalency exam (GED or HiSet), college entrance, career-technical education, or career readiness skills. The ABE Program offers class instruction in small groups, tutorial services, and computer-based learning.

Criteria to enter the program:

· Must be 17 years old and not currently enrolled in school
(17-year-olds need a withdrawal form from the last school attended)
· Must attend orientation at one of our 5 locations
· No more than 4 absences in the semester term

When Can I Enroll?

Enrollment for Adult Education/HSE prep classes is held through a registration process on a weekly basis.Ìý

For students seeking transcripts or diplomas from HiSET, GED, or Total Transcript, please visit to make your request.

Each community college president is asked to bring two (2) wrapped door prizes, minimum value of $50 each. We will have a station set up at the conference for you to drop off the door prizes.

Each community college is asked to provide name tags for their Board members, administration, and staff attending the conference.
