Malone Chapel

The primary purpose of the Malone Chapel is to provide the students, faculty, staff and alumni a peaceful place for quiet meditation to ease their many anxieties as well as to ponder their various opportunities.Ìý

All Malone Chapel activities should be scheduled through the 91¸£Àû President’s Office. Access to Malone Chapel shall be in accordance with the following priorities:Ìý

  1. Scheduled devotional timesÌý
  2. Individual use for quiet timeÌý
  3. College instructional use (recitals, vespers, concerts, etc.)Ìý
  4. College-sanctioned student groups use (BSU, Wesley, CSA, etc.)Ìý
  5. Non-college use (recitals, etc.) – Fee applies
  6. Wedding, etc. – Fee appliesÌý

General Policies

The Chapel will not be used as a regular meeting place for any organization or group, but may be used for special occasions by such groups.Ìý

  • Groups using the Chapel will be expected to leave it clean and free of litter.Ìý
  • All use of the Chapel, except individual devotional times, must be scheduled with the PRCC President’s Office.Ìý
  • Non-college events (including weddings) will be scheduled around college events.Ìý
  • The College is sensitive to the issues surrounding Separation of Church and State. The College will take the necessary steps to avoid the appearance of the establishment of a church.Ìý

Each community college president is asked to bring two (2) wrapped door prizes, minimum value of $50 each. We will have a station set up at the conference for you to drop off the door prizes.

Each community college is asked to provide name tags for their Board members, administration, and staff attending the conference.
