Because the program is open to everyone, it’s perfect for career changers, recent high school graduates, and individuals looking to enter the workforce quickly.

This training program focuses on core construction skills that are essential for entry-level jobs. Topics include: Drywall hanging, Basic Electrical, Foundations of Plumbing, Safety, Introduction to Construction, and much more!

With a focus on real-world application, students get practical, hands-on training that prepares them to transition seamlessly into the workforce.

Blueprint Reading for Construction

Blue Print Reading for Construction will introduce students to common types of construction drawings, their basic components, standard drawing elements, and measurement tools.

  • Describe components and features used in construction drawings
  • Identify types of construction drawings
  • Understand the significance of different drawing elements
  • Demonstrate how to use engineer’s and architect’s scales
  • Complete the NCCER Introduction to Construction Drawing Module

Each community college president is asked to bring two (2) wrapped door prizes, minimum value of $50 each. We will have a station set up at the conference for you to drop off the door prizes.

Each community college is asked to provide name tags for their Board members, administration, and staff attending the conference.
