All instructors will be accessible to students.
Procedure:
Faculty members are required to be accessible to students and must clearly communicate to students their availability. Options for availability are to be outlined in the course syllabus. Instructor availability can be communicated through prominent displaying of office hours either on the faculty member鈥檚 door, as a link on their course鈥檚 homepage in the Learning Management System, Canvas, or through an appointments-upon-request statement on the syllabus. Faculty members will establish preferred communication options for student inquiries, which may include email, office hours, and institutionally supported messaging platforms. Responses and communication to student inquiries should be timely (within 24-48 hours), respectful, and supportive.
